Kaela Kennedy

This is my last day with braces on. Suprisingly enough, I feel neither nostalgic or bittersweet about parting with something that I have known for nearly two years. I think the best word to describe my sentiments would be estatic. I can't wait to see my face without the blinding glare of my upper and lower teeth. I wonder if the orthodontists will give me a goodie bag with some sugar-free gum and a tooth-shaped balloon.

Joe and I have decided to move out of town. This most likely means we will be moving to St. Petersburg, which I am 80% sure is the right thing to do. I can find a better job there v. here, it's an actual city and we could live downtown, the rent is actually cheaper, etc. However, I have lived here for four years, and it's weird to think of moving when it's not for something necessary like school. I think that I have paid my dues in Gainesville, however, and that moving is something that I need to do.
